My full name is Robert James White. By birth, I am half Japanese and half Caucasian, however, I was adopted at birth by a Korean and a Caucasian. So I can claim to be Korean or Japanese. Currently, I'm 25 years old and living in Miami Lakes.

I went to high school at Barabra Goleman Seniro High where I truly began to develop a passion for design, in the last two years of my stay there. It was a man named Mr. Perdomo who first instilled a desire to desgin in me. He was a great teacher and who loved to joke.

I did well enough in community service and my tests to get a full tuition scholarship to Florida State University. There I studied in the studio art program, but the vast majority of my classes were design driven because of my specialization.

One of the important things about my character is that I thrive on being creative. This is reflected by my main hobbies; writing and drawing. I am better with graphics than drawing, but I still try to do it anyway. And I just love to create a good story and to design a universe to serve as a backdrop to the story.

I love to please people with good design. If they aren't satisfied, I'm not either. Back in college I would regularly pull all-nighters in order to bring my projects to satisfactory levels. During one excruciating period I was awake for 66 hours because I had multiple projects due near the end of the semester and I refused to simply "get the job done". It had to be something I could turn in and be proud of. Despite this, I do understand that the customer should get what they want, and I understand that sometimes the job needs to be completed.

Though I listen to all types of music, I've been listening more ambient music lately, especially when writing or drawing. Another thing I love is cigars. I enjoy the simple pleasure of a well-aged hand made cigar, preferably Nicaraguan or Honduran. I used to go for the more intense blends and maduros, but lately I've been smoking more medium bodied sticks. If I didn't do design I would be more than happy to work as a tobacconist.
